How It All Began
2019: The Spark of Compassion
During the harsh realities of the COVID-19 lockdown, our Founder, Mr. Mohammad Salman Khan, was deeply moved by the plight of road dwellers, street hawkers, and daily wage laborers. Recognizing that hunger cannot wait, he dedicated 6 months to volunteering in Gurgaon. By caring for patients and distributing food, he realized his true calling: devoting his life to feeding and helping those in absolute need.
2024: A Step Closer to the Ultimate Aim
Observing that many charities were limited by community biases, our founder envisioned a platform driven solely by humanity—free from the divides of caste, religion, or nationality. This heartfelt desire led to the birth of Unity in Variety Trust.
Supported by a dedicated circle of trustees and close friends—Prashant Adarsh, Surabhi Sujanti, Himani Varun, and family—the trust became a unifying force. We brought together people from different backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles under one common ideology: to feed the hungry and provide essential items to anyone in need.

Our Intent: Beyond Just Charity

At Unity in Variety, we welcome your patronage every single day to ensure consistent meals and necessities reach the hungry. Our motive goes beyond just food—we aim to provide the best resources for a healthy, happy environment.

Healthcare is a fundamental human right, not a luxury reserved for those who can afford the premium. By bridging the gap in medical access, we stabilize entire communities. True social progress is measured by how quickly a sick child in a slum receives the same quality of care as one in a penthouse. Investing in the health of the poor is the most direct way to break the cycle of poverty and restore human dignity.
